SpokenbyT is a Toronto-based spoken word poet and recording artist whose creative energy transcends the ordinary. Infused with the rhythms of jazz, soul, R&B, and hip-hop, T's unique musical voice defies convention and carves out its own space in the world of sound. With performances that have graced the illustrious stages of HISTORY, Massey Hall, and the Brooklyn Museum, T’s impact is undeniable. September 2023 marked a milestone with a record-breaking 100 shows, and soon after, T made her poetic songwriting debut on Yebba’s soulful single, "Waterfall (I Adore You)." In November 2023, T released her debut single, "PLEASE," and followed it up with "Affinity," a captivating 2-pack project exploring the depths of romance and intimacy. Her love has always been for the connection and emotions felt through performance. In Sept 2024, T became the very first poet to grace the stage of a Candlelight Concert, closing out two sold out shows at the notable Toronto venue, Paradise Theatre.
With a talent born out of Mississauga, ON, T continues to develop a language that can be felt and understood by anyone who experiences her work. She continues to foster new ways for poetry to be heard, understood and loved, through the use of raw instruments and vulnerable stories.
As an alumna of The Remix Project, T’s collaborations with Footlocker Canada, Adidas, and Daniels Corp reflect her influential presence in the arts. Having enchanted over 100,000 people across 80 stages, SpokenbyT continues to inspire and elevate the world through the power of her voice and vision.
